Cusco City Tour Itinerary:
We will pick you up from your hotel at 1:30 in the afternoon to start your Cusco City Tour. Our tour begins with the visit of the Koricancha Sun Temple, a wonderful Ceremonial construction built during the Incas heyday. Afterwards, we will visit the Cusco's Main Square (Plaza de Armas) and see the Cathedral from the outside which was built on top of the Inca buildings. Later on, we will drive you to the northern outskirts of Cusco, towards the spectacular complex of the Inca Complex of Sacsayhuaman. Here, we will walk through huge Inca walls, built with massive rocks weighing up to 180 tons, well-fitted with absolute perfection. Then, continue onto another important Inca site known as Qenqo (means "zigzag"), a strange place with subterranean passages, hiding in its interior perfect carved stones where the Incas probably mummified their dead. Afterwards, we will visit the Inca Baths of Tambomachay and the military lookout point of Puca-pucara. We’ll then drive back down to Cusco where the tour ends in the main square, unless you are taking a private tour, in which case we will return you back to your hotel.
Optional: Visit the inside of the Cusco Cathedral at an additional cost (entry fee: S/. 25, not included on the tourist ticket).
Note: Private Service is highly recommended because it is done at your own pace and you can stop anytime for pictures and more. This service only includes you, your family and friends and no outsiders. If you have more than six people, please contact us.
