The Rainbow Mountain full day tour offers an unforgettable adventure in Peru’s Cusco region, showcasing one of the most spectacular
natural wonders of the Andes. The tour begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive through remote Andean landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a nutritious breakfast before starting the hike.
The trek to Rainbow Mountain (also known as Vinicunca or the Seven-Colored Mountain) takes about 2 to 3 hours uphill through high-altitude terrain, reaching over 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) above sea level. Along the way, you will be surrounded by breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, including the sacred Ausangate Mountain, and may encounter herds of llamas and alpacas grazing the Andean plains.
