Itinerary - Caral Tour Full day
6:15 AM — Hotel pickup.
6:30 AM — Departure toward the Caral Archaeological Centers, with a guided tour during the trip.
8:20 AM — Stop at Restaurante del Pino for breakfast (optional, not included).
11:00 AM — Arrival at the Caral Citadel. Caral is located on the left bank of the middle-lower Supe Valley, 26 km away. It includes a central area with 32 public structures and several residential complexes, as well as a peripheral zone bordering the valley where several housing groups were built.
1:00 PM — Lunch break (not included) at the reception area of the Caral archaeological site (only Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. From Monday to Friday, lunch is in Huacho).
3:30 PM — Arrival at the Bandurria Archaeological Center. Situated on elevated land 20 meters above sea level, the Bandurria pyramids were built nearly 5,000 years ago. They are classified within the geographic-cultural area known as the “north-central coast,” in the Lima department, Huaura province, Huacho district.
5:00 PM — Return to Lima city.
7:30 PM — Arrival in Lima.

The Caral culture developed between 3000 and 1800 B.C., considered the clearest expression of the first complex societies in the north-central region of Peru, throughout the Supe Valley located in Barranca, north of Lima.
The Caral civilization belongs to the Late Archaic period, an age confirmed through multiple radiocarbon datings conducted in the United States.
The most important achievement of the Caral culture was the construction of extensive cities with monumental buildings made of stone, mud, and plant materials.
